Furthermore, the UDLnet project has organised the following successful events:
UDLnet organised the Open Schools for Open Societies Conference 2016 on 4-6 November 2016.
The aim of the conference is to introduce and discuss the notion of the “Open School”. A school that effectively introduces innovations in education is an engaging environment not only for the students and teachers. It re-designs learning to accommodate and include difference and brings together families, community groups, local businesses, experts, universities, and others into an innovation ecosystem.
UDLnet organised the "Universal Design for Learning: innovation in promoting inclusive best practice in today's schools" european workshop on 24th November 2015 at Conference Centre of Childvision, the National Education Centre for Blind Children in Drumcondra.
